What is Teslativity?

Teslativity is on a mission to increase adoption of sustainable mobility by creating win-win transactions between private party buyers and sellers. We do this through an app and vehicle monitoring services to complement traditional vehicle reports and inspections.We built this because we love Tesla vehicles and want as many people as possible to experience the joy of owning one.

How is Teslativity related to Tesla?

Teslativity is an independent company and not affiliated with Tesla, Inc. Teslativity is an integration partner that has applied and been approved to process data on behalf of Tesla owners for their benefit.

How does Teslativity help sellers?

We provide services to Tesla vehicle owners to prove their vehicle is an excellent condition and if not, to prove that whatever issues existed were resolved and the vehicle is working great.

How does Teslativity help buyers?

We help ensure that the vehicle you're buying is in excellent condition. We also help you save up to $4k on the purchase price with the Used EV Tax Credit if eligible. Contact us and we'll show you how this is possible for a private party sale.

Is Teslativity a dealer or a marketplace?

No. We promote PRIVATE-PARTY vehicle transactions in ANY marketplace so that sellers earn $1,000s more than trading in their vehicle to a dealer AND so that buyers pay $1,000s less than purchasing from a dealer. These are WIN-WIN transactions, especially when both parties can be trusted. We work with vendor partners to help facilitate additional trust and easy transactions in private party sales.

Can I get a Used EV Credit for a private party sales?

Yes, this is possible. Buyers can save up to $4k on a Used Tesla while sellers still get their FULL amount. Contact us and we'll show you how this is possible for a private party sale.

Does this work outside the USA?

No, the app only works in the USA for now. Contact us if you'd like to discuss requirements and support for your country.

What vehicles are supported?

All Tesla vehicles except some older versions of X and S. If you want us to support other makers (ie. Rivian, Audi, Mercedes, Hyundai, Honda, Ford, Chevy, etc...) then please reach out and let us know what vehicle you own and if you'd be willing to be an early adopter of a non-Tesla solution.

How does Teslativity make money?

We provide the app and initial insights for free and charge a monthly or annual subscription for monitoring.We also earn money when we refer you to one of our vendor partners that help facilitate a trusted private party sale or an additional inspection.We may also earn money providing white-glove services to help with a sale.

How much does it cost?

We're in early-bird stages so the pricing is lower right now as we harden the features. Download the app to see the latest pricing.

Do you sell my data?

No. We comply with Tesla's policies regarding data use. This means we do not "rent, lease, sell, assign, distribute, publish, transfer or otherwise make available User Personal Data or Vehicle Data to any third party other than to Users in the Application."

How often do you ping / monitor my car?

At most once per hour for now but this may vary as we evolve and improve the solution.

Do you wake my Tesla? or keep it awake?

No, we never wake it as part of monitoring. If it's sleeping or offline, we let it sleep and stay offline. We only wake it one time to get the initial vehicle specifications which is required before we can begin monitoring.

Does monitoring impact my range or battery health?

No, monitoring has no impact on your vehicle's range or battery.

Do you track my location?

No, we never track location as part of monitoring. We only query vehicle location one time so that we know your local region to get more accurate vehicle market value information.

How do you calculate my battery and vehicle health?

We're automotive engineers with a passion for solving tough problems and an appreciation for trade secrets. We're able to take vehicle telemetry data, environment data, and calculate derived metrics using those inputs. Contact us if you'd like to discuss the math in more detail.

Do you calculate battery degradation?

Not at this time. Tesla keeps the details to calculate this accurately a trade secret. We prefer not to guess and potentially mislead buyers and sellers. We therefore provide insights on usable battery capacity over time. By monitoring the drift, environment and vehicle attributes from initial readings, we can predict and trigger alerts if there is cause for concern with the battery.

How do I sign up for monitoring?

Download the app and subscribe.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Like any app store or play store app, go into your phone settings, subscriptions and change it there. You can also go into the app and click update subscription.

Do you see or save my Tesla password?

No. We never see or store your Tesla credentials. When you connect to Tesla's account, we receive a secure authorization token that can be used to communicate directly with your vehicle.

Can I adjust pricing based on vehicle condition or optional features (like FSD)?

These features are coming soon. Message us to discuss what features and vehicle conditions you believe are important to include in the app and if you want to see early designs and test these features out.

How can I share the condition of my vehicle with others?

What's the best way to provide feedback?
